Tips for making coupons go further

On their own coupons can save you money, but if you combine them with sales or other special deals or events, you’ll be able to save even more on them!

Double your coupons. Take advantage of the traditional sales many grocery stores offer, as these sales often include the opportunity to double your coupons. How does coupon doubling work? Simple: if you have a coupon for $1 off a bag of cat food, that coupon will amount to $2 off at the register. If you shop for products and hand $18 worth of coupons over to the cashier, you’ll suddenly have saved $36!

Use manufacturer coupons & store coupons together. Many stores, including major retailers, are printing out their own store-specific coupons for you to use. But did you know that you can combine those store-generated coupons with manufacturer ones? This means you can combine InkSupply.com coupons and manufacturer coupons for ink in order to save twice the amount of money on an ink cartridge or two!

Use coupons during sales. Nothing is better than having a coupon for an item that is already on sale. Depending on how sales are scheduled and the types of coupons you have, you may be able to pay absolutely nothing for a particular product!

Swap coupons with family members and friends. This works out quite well if family members or friends receive a different type of circular, with different types of coupons in them. Save all your coupons — and have them save theirs — and then meet up to swap and trade what you’re not interested in, and what they’re not interested in.

How else can you work coupons to your advantage?
