This was my first time renting and since I live in the mountains I was a little nervous about getting it on time. But, I still got the standard free shipping and they said it would take something like 3-11 days - I got it in 5. It was brand new and I was little surprised they didn't charge for the warped corners when I returned it. I'm definitely renting from them again this semester.

Great place to save money

Have been renting from Knetbooks for almost a year now, all my books have arrived very quickly, even with standard shipping, and never had any problems.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY TO RENT BOOKS!

I placed my order on 9/6/11, it didn't get shipped until 9/12/11. I finally got it on 9/16 and it was the WRONG BOOK! I live in NJ and ordered a Child Psychology book and received an Engineering book that was supposed to go to California. They emailed me a return label and said they would re-submit the order. I just asked for a refund and now I have to go out and pay full price for a book I'll never use again.....totally frustrating! They said they will refund me the cost of the rental (we'll see how long that takes). I'm not holding my breath....I will NEVER use Knetbooks to rent a textbook again.

Worst Service Ever!

Knetbooks is by far the worst textbook rental company I have ever *tried* to use, and I have been renting textbooks for six semesters so far. First of all, I ordered a textbook from them and that same time that I ordered other rentals from various rental companies. After receiving all of my other textbooks, my order from knetbooks hadn't even shipped. I called their Customer Service line and waited on hold for almost an hour and a half. When I finally got to talk to a representative, I was told my book would be shipped that day. A week later, I hadn't recieved by book and got online to see if I could track it. Turns out my book still hadn't shipped. I called customer service again, only to find out that they didn't even *have* the textbook I ordered and were waiting to receive it. How can you rent out something you don't own? Anyway, they said my book would ship by the end of the week, but then later that day I signed into my accout and found out the order had been cancelled because they could not find the book. I never even got an email telling me my order had been cancelled, and I'm still waiting to get my money back. Long story short DO NOT order from them!
